follow Pike, Spock, and Number One on the Enterprise than Discovery in the future.

As for Discovery (the ship), they are now 900 (i think) years in the future, so won't the crew and the ship basically be the galaxy idiots? Maybe the evolution gap going from year 2300 to 3200 will be less severe than say 1100 to 2019 but still...
