Is it time to get rid of opening weekend adjusts?

Anybody who rode Suicide Squad up, long, and then down, short, got something like $15M in free money, even though the price at which it began its release is going to be pretty close to its final four week gross. It seems like the adjusts themselves have become a problematic market inefficiency in most cases.
