When contentous issues arise and a committee decision is made, there is already an avenue available that could be expanded...FAQs and Glossary. ADD the question or word with an explanation of the etiquette into either of these documents. At least then, there would be a formal corporate memory of rabbit holes already gone down so that people are not stepping into the same situation over and over.
Thanks for weighing in...again, you say that this has been tried before and did not work (corporate memory) and that gutchecks were decided to be allowed after midnight or that calls to action were not allowed (corporate knowledge) - thus highlighting a couple of items right there that could be added.
There is no danger of making a FAQ too long or increasing the glossary to silly lengths IMHO. Serious players will read these items and become more familiar with the game in their own time without risking rocking of the boat. Again, in my humble opinion.
I will rest my case at this time and leave it to the bigger brains who run the show. It IS a suggestion after all, not a demand. Thanks to all who have weighed in.
