I understand that, but I think therein lies my question/point.
The game would be better if riskier props were available. IPO every blacklist screenplay at a few bucks (for those not already being actively produced) so that those players taking a shot are handsomely rewarded if they ever make it to a theatrical release. Delists SHOULD be a major part of the game and you shouldn't shy away from having more of them. For every additional 20 delists, you would have one or two that pay out and make the game a lot more fun, IMO. As I stated before, the game has evolved pretty much into a game less about its original intent (can you predict a succesfull movie), and more simply who has the time to short every netflix IPO and get in on every Marvel IPO.
I now understand it is a limitation on availible man-hours which is undersandable, although I would think there are enough passionate players still around that a few would be willing to volunteer their time to help the game in this regard. I would be, but I understand that I would not be in the inner-trust circle so I won't ask.
