The Broken Hearts Club is about a group of friends who together endure the ups and downs of broken relationships, jealousies, and the melancholy examinations of the meaning of life itself. We've seen this general plotline before, such as in The Big Chill. The difference here is that all the friends are gay men from West Hollywood. But the universality of their friendship, along with the threats to it, cut across demographic groups. Greg Berlanti wrote and directed this film. The cast includes Dean Cain, Andrew Keegan, Nia Long, Mary McCormack, John Mahoney, and Timothy Olyphant.
