Description

Based on Richard Price's 1998 novel, Freedomland looks into a woman's claim that her child was abducted by an African-American man during a car-jacking. A detective looks deeper into the case and discovers that the woman might not be telling the truth. Freedomland is inspired by a number of real live events and raises some thought-provoking questions on racial issues. The film is produced by Scott Rudin Productions.
