This New York native was a former Golden Glove boxer and graduate from the New York High School for the Performing Arts. Eldard is probably best known to the viewing audience in the recurring role of the paramedic Shep who's the love interest of Julianna Margulies on NBC's top-rated ER. Eldard had a major role in 1996's Sleepers as one of the hitmen who exacts revenge on a prison guard who abused him as a youth in prison. He was most recently seen in the 1999 hockey comedy Mystery, Alaska.
