Known primarily for his television work, Jonathan Brandis began his career with guest appearances in several popular 80's sitcoms, including Who's the Boss, Full House and The Wonder Years. Brandis made his screen debut with a bit part in 1987's Fatal Attraction, but landed larger yet more obscure roles in 1988's The Wrong Guys and 1989's Stepfather II. In 1992, Brandis heightened his profile with roles opposite Chuck Norris in Sidekicks, as well as a role opposite Rodney Dangerfield in Ladybugs. However, Brandis' career in television soon overshadowed his film career, as the young actor landed a lead role in the SeaQuest DSV series, followed by roles in several made-for-TV movies. In 1999, Brandis revived his film career, appearing in 1999's Outside Providence.
