Description

Kate Mara plays the real-life Megan Leavey, a US Marine who was injured with her dog Rex by an IED in Iraq. While she went home with the Purple Heart, Rex was sent back to Iraq. Leavey then fought through years of bureaucracy to adopt Rex. Gabriela Cowperthwaite (Blackfish) directs from a script by Pamela Gray.
