Michael Jeter is a recognizeable face from the number of small character parts he has played for many years in features.
In 1999, Jeter will appear in a number of high profile projects including the next Robin Williams' vehicle, Jakob the Liar, (a controversial Holocaust comedy in the vain of Life is Beautiful), and the Billy Bob Thornton directed film Daddy and Them also starring Thornton, Laura Dern, Ben Affleck, and Kelly Preston.
Jeter's third film for 1999 is the Steven King penned film, The Green Mile, a drama/thriller about death row guards and a unique inmate, set in the 1930s.
In a smaller, independent vein, Jeter will star in singer Dwight Yoakam's directorial debut, a western set to begin shooting in 1999 and co-starring Billy Bob Thornton, Peter Fonda, Bridget Fonda and Vince Vaughn.
