Description

Michael Mann started his directing career with '70s T.V. favorites such as Starsky & Hutch and Vega$. After several box office disappointments, Mann took a small break. He did not return to directing until 1992 when he helmed the box-office smash, The Last of the Mohicans. He earned further critical acclaim with the movies Heat and The Insider, for which he was honored with an Oscar nomination.
