Description

Brian De Palma has been tapped to direct Disney's entry into the dueling Mars movie race. Planned as a Summer 2000 event picture, Mission to Mars tells a fictional story about a rescue mission to Mars. This second mission to Mars was launched when the first manned mission to Mars never returned and mission control on Earth is unable to determine what happened to the first group of Astronauts.
