Nativity stars Keisha Castle-Hughes as Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. The film covers the two year journey of Joseph and Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem leading up to the birth of their child. Other characters in the film include King Herod, the three kings, as well as Zachariah and Elizabeth, the parents of John the Baptist. Catherine Hardwicke directs the film with a script by Mike Rich.
