Shadow of the Vampire is a film that recreates the making of 1922's German horror classic, Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror.
The early German film was surrounded by several bizarre incidents during its filming, including the disappearance and death of a few of its crew members.
Nosferatu director F.W. Murnau will be played by John Malkovich, while the lead actor of the film, Max Schrek, will be played by Willem Dafoe.
Shadow of the Vampire, also known as Burned to Light during production, is directed by E. Elias Merhige, director of 1991's Begotten.
