Super Troopers is a comedy about a group of state troopers in Vermont who go around messing with people's heads for fun. They play silly pranks on each other and drive around in cars that have been impounded. . .just the thing you don't expect from the police department. The film stars Daniel von Bargen, Marisa Coughlan, Lynda Carter, Brian Cox, and Jim Gaffigan. Jay Chandrasekhar writes and directs the comedy which Richard Perello and Danny DeVito produced. Fox Searchlight picked up Super Troopers for distribution after its premiere at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
