Relativity has finally revealed the first trailer for the action film Haywire [HAYWR] directed by Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh [SSODE]. MMA fighter Gina Carano makes her film debut and the trailer goes to great lengths to hide her acting by having her speaking mostly off camera. Soderbergh has surrounded her with an all-star cast of Channing Tatum [CTATU], Ewan McGregor [EMCGR], Michael Fassbender [MFASS], Antonio Banderas [ABAND], and Michael Douglas [MDOUG], yet the film looks no better than a low budget B-movie. Shot in early 2010, the film was originally titled Knockout and had Lionsgate as its distributor. But nothing was heard from the film until photos of reshoots surfaced this year. Soderbergh had even gone and finished a whole other movie called Contagion, which will be released first in September before Haywire arrives next January.
