Paramount has revealed the teaser trailer for the horror remake Pet Sematary [PETSM] based on Stephen King novel. Jason Clarke [JCLAR] and Amy Seimetz star as a couple who relocates to rural Maine with their two young children and discovers a mysterious burial ground in the woods near their new home. John Lithgow [JLITH] plays their neighbor who reveals the secret that brings the dead back to life with horrible consequences. Pet Sematary opens in theaters on April 5th.

With an estimated $80.0 million opening weekend, Venom [VENM1] obliterated the previous recrod of $55.7 million recrod held by Gravity.  The audience leaned 59% male and 64% aged 25 years or older.

A Star Is Born [ASTAR] debuted at second with $42.3 million , and $42.6 million including previews from Tuesday and Wednesday. The crowd was skewed heavily female at 68% and 25 years of age or older at 86%.

Warner Bros. has unveiled an extended five-minute video of the DC Comics adaptation of Aquaman [AQUMN].  Jason Momoa [JMOMO] reprises his title role from Justice League as the half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry.  Amber Heard [AHEAR] co-stars as Mera who accompanies him on a journey to uncover the lost city of Atlantis and reclaim his rightful place on the throne as the ruler of the seven seas.  Aquaman lands in theaters on December 21st.
