Warner Bros. has released an eight minutes long preview of animated The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim [LOTR4] based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Miranda Otto [MOTTO] reprises her role as Éowyn, Shieldmaiden of Rohan to narrate the film directed by Kenji Kamiyama. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim opens in theaters on December 13th.

Focus Features has revealed the official trailer for the thriller Last Breath [LBRTH] based on a true story. Finn Cole. stars as a diver who is trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface. Woody Harrelson [WHARR], Cliff Curtis [CCURT] and Simu Liu [SLIU] co-star his crewmates battling the raging elements to rescue him. Last Breath arrives in theaters on February 28th.
Disney has unveiled the full-length trailer for the live-action remake of the animated classic Snow White [SNWHT]. Rachel Zegler [RZEGL] stars in the title role while Gal Gadot [GGADO] plays as her stepmother, the Evil Queen. The seven dwarves Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy are back in CG forms. Directed by Marc Webb [MWEBB], Snow White opens in theaters on March 21, 2025.
In a sign of box office confidence or not, Sony has unleashed the first eight minutes of the comic adaptation Kraven the Hunter [KRAVN]. Aaron Taylor-Johnson [AJOHN] stars in the origin story of a man who becomes not only the greatest hunter in the world, but a villain in the Spider-verse. Kraven the Hunter opens in theaters on December 13th.
This year's Thanksgiving weekend box office was the biggest ever, led by a record-breaking opening from Moana 2 [MOAN2], which debuted with an estimated $135.5 million over 3-day and $221.0 million over 5-day. The animated sequel beat The Super Mario Bros. Movies’ 5-day opening record of $204.6 million as well as Frozen II’s Thanksgiving 5-day record of $125.0 million. Females under 25 made up the biggest quadrant at 42%, followed by women over 25 at 29%.

Paramount has released the second trailer for the family film sequel Sonic the Hedgehog 3 [SONC3] based on the videogame franchise.
