General strategy for playing a MovieStock after it's been released is to guess/predict at what price the movie will delist after 4 weekends. Quite often, if you are good at being able to predict the next week (or two) for that movie, you can fairly accurately predict where the movie will delist, and if there is a big enough difference, ride the stock that way until delist for more profit.
Long-term, historical precedent says that HPOT movies have never delisted at or above their adjust price, so if you have some money invested in HPOT8, you'll have to weather the daytrading storm for a little while until the dust settles, but you will get a good return on investment by the time it delists. It's just whether or not you can invest in fast-moving stocks elsewhere that can get you more of a profit in a shorter time that is worth pondering.
