Day trading for a port of $10M+ is very risky...and only if you can babysit the port...not everyone can do that...

This is just my opinion...daytrading for NEW small ports is very hard tricky...learning how to read the market, which IPO's to keep for a day, which ones to sell off... most new players (NOT all) have a hard time learning the curves of daytrading quickly.

Personally, I think newer ports can stick with playing openers...learning how THEY work, adjust, etc... since it's possible to earn $1M+ in a 2-3 day weekend...which most players can't do daytrading. Yes, playing openers is risky too, however you have the ability to watch the 'gut checks' done on Fridays with the more experienced players giving you their opinions of how the openers will do, and you have a 50/50 chance of guessing the right way to play an opener...

Funds are also a good way to watch the experienced players and how they hold stocks, which ones, etc...although funds are NOT good investments for small ports.

Again, this is just my own thoughts on daytrading - while it CAN be very rewarding if you have a knack for it...in my experience here, I don't think the majority of newer players do. But that is just my 4 cents on it....

Start looking at Starbonds. They adjust to TAG every week, and you can safely hold them for more than 1 week. They don't fluctuate a lot. elchan Aug 07, 12:53
