How do players deal with an IPO bloodbath day, like today?
I chose to shop for a few big-budget movies opening in the next 3-6 months, figuring that their prices were temporarily less inflated compared to projected adjust.
Obviously, I only looked for stocks I thought were trading below adjust/delist price, and only for stocks that had taken a significant percentage hit today. And the closer they were to release, the better.
Also, I held all of my own bloodbath stocks, because anything I considered worth buying and holding is something that I think will make today's loss back, and more.
What did you do, or what have you done on other days when big IPOs caused other stocks to nosedive?
