Honestly, only *you* can decide when the best time to sell is... or how much profit you want, will a stock go up more, etc?
Be wary of anyone who tells you what stocks to buy, when to sell, when to short, etc.
Basically, if you feel a penny stock will go higher, and there's a good chance the movie will move into production, then why not hold onto it?
If you are happy with the $$ you've made, you can sell the penny stock and move on to something else.
YOU are the only one who knows how much (or how little) profit you can tolerate vs. the time it takes to make it...everyone has different trading styles, and there is no right or wrong way. Some people make their $$ and move on. Other people hang in there longer and may make more, but have to tie up the cash longer.
If you have the cash to use, and you don't mind the wait, and you feel the prices will go higher, then wait them out and see.
There's is no cut and dry answer for 'when' to sell a stock - only you know how much risk, or how much time you want to invest in holding it.
Sorry I can't be more precise, but everyone's trading style is so different.
