Well, I didn't mean it literally. haha. I'm not sure about commission but I do know that there is a minimum (just not sure what)...
As Flash mentioned below, every trader has their own guidelines. For me, I wouldn't be playing penny stocks just to make 10k every once in a while. I'd be playing them looking for at least 50k (but really way more). However, like I mentioned, I don't play them (unless I get in early on one when news breaks ala Gilligans Island where I got in at .17). My point of view is that every day there are literally dozens of stocks at all price ranges (over, let's say, $10) that will make me 10x as much than 10k in only an hour or two so I'd be more interested in playing those. But to each his or her own bud. No worries.
Also, because I'm ridiculous, I like having a more tidy port and having tons of tiny stocks that I don't even know what they are just bugs my eyes. Of course, I do believe I am the exception when it comes to this because when I look at other like-sized ports as my own they nearly always have hundreds more positions than I do. At nearly 800M I almost never have more than 200 positions which is an exceedingly low number from what I see in other ports.

Yeah. I get what you're saying.. When I get into the hundreds of millions maybe I can graduate to 10 dollar stocks. LOL Jun 05, 10:48
