rule 1. dont invest only in movies that you want to see...your one person out of a billion.
rule 2. watch the movie forums constantly for news. the ticker is always several minutes late.
rule 3. pennystocks are your friends...if you can catch them early...news on pennystocks (stocks worth practically nothing) have produced some of the biggest gains....but buying up pennystocks is a gamble not really worth taking...for the most part 90% of them really are worthless and will just drain your limited recources a few cents at a time. see rule number 2 for the best way to handle pennystocks. oh and remember DO NOT FORGET to dump them before closing....because everyone else is going to and your profits will tank
rule 4. starbonds are your best friends. dont panic. when i first started playing, starbonds were incomprehensible... if your like me and cant understand complicated mathmatics, theres still hope. if you go to community and hit hsx fansites you will see a link to kaigee. thats the site i use. it tells you the date starbonds adjust and by how much. i buy starbonds a month in advance of their adjust date and never anything less then a five dollar adjust...anything else isnt worth the commission. once i understood that simple tactic my portfolio grew wings and took off. at first your not gonna have enough money to do this so just pick and choose until your in a position to do better. (thank you so much kaigee)
rule 5. saturday is the big day for IPO'S on hsx....thats the day you get the big movies like avengers 3 or star wars episode 8. if your just starting out your not gonna have the money to buy maximum shares of anything....especially stocks that are selling for a couple hundred dollars apiece....just remember not every single saturday ipo goes through the roof....on occasion they tank...but on something obvious like avengers or star wars or hunger games your money is usually safe...even if you can only afford to buy 50 shares...it will accumulate
rule 6. dont be to quick to dump a stock because its in the red. prices fluctuate all the time.my rule of thumb is to look and see how much money i've made off that stock...if its constantly losing money then dump it....but if your profit margin is still in the green and its just in a slump then hang onto it....odds are its gonna go back up
rule 7. movie funds are awesome but they take a long time to mature and are better left to more mature porfolios.
rule 8.if your just starting out then every dime counts...dont forget to play the hsx games which will put cash in your pocket
rule 9. remember its fake money your dealing with here the idea is to have fun.
rule 10. never trust any damn thing horrorfanatic says
