[AFRAM] March 2015 Report
Hi, this is RazorHawk and I manage The African American Fund. AFRAM for short (and ticker symbol).
What a year... what a month!
I started this year all fired up and ready to rock, but had a family illness that I had to personally take care of so my personal port, AFRAM Fund, and my website The HSX Dude all suffered (because I was not focused, was strained, drained and tired).
Then some dude tried to make me feel crappy about it (link).
The situation got stable a few weeks ago and I turned my focus on catching back up!
AFRAM started March at $47.75 and is currently at $78.50 (+30.75 month) (+1.10 mill avg/day)
Week 1
Focus fizzled and didnt do very much
Week 2
no AFRAM releases
Week 3
Run All Night fizzled and didnt do very much
Week 4
Insurgent had a nice adjust up and nice post adjust down
Week 5
Get Hard made AFRAM some money rising during the week before adjusts but the weekend adjust stayed near the current price.
Home made AFRAM money by rising during the week before adjusts and then had a big weekend adjust
Both movies had a big post adjust drop that AFRAM profitted from, but by Tuesday I had dropped both of them and had moved on to the next set of AFRAM movies:
Mad Max released a new trailer this week and went up a mill
Furious 7 is opening this coming weekend and was underpriced when I invested in it. Now it is estimated to do more than I had originally planned.
Throughout the month I also caught a few casting announcements, release date changes and IPOs early which let me make a little extra money on the side.
My personal investment style with AFRAM is to be lean and mean. I grab whatever is hot that I know will make me money and I dump stuff that is not making me money or that has stopped moving. I am very knowledgable about which moviestocks and starbonds are eligible for my fund which allows me to act quickly when news items are posted.
(Advisory: I might not be here next month to post one of these updates... hopefully with Furious 7, Mad Max and Avengers 2 coming up... I might be delisted
