You need to look at Christmas weekend drops. Many movies make more on that weekend than the week before (link)

And then there's the New Years weekend which while a drop from the week before is not as big as a standard weekend.

And then look at the weekdays between Xmas and New Years. Each day can be as big as Sat or Sun.
