Quick question on shorting Award Funds

Posted by: nextlvl on Feb 29, 10:21

May seem like an obvious question to most but just wondering if you short one of the Oscar nominees and that selection does not win, does it cash out at the $25 minus the avg price paid similar to what the LONG options do?

Or does it just delist?

thanks!

Sorry, "net" should be "gross" (I think). in any case, multiply your cost paid by 20K (assuming full ownership) and you have your profit. {nm} Willroast Feb 29, 10:50

yes, that is what I was thinking but wasnt sure, thanks! {nm} nextlvl Feb 29, 13:14

Based on you gain today, looks like you did pretty well on the Oscarvbids. Well done! {nm} VicMackeyYTD Feb 29, 16:23
