The difference between helping and bullying is like ...

the difference between quietly saying someone's zip is open and shouting across the busy room that you can see their pants.

The first message is probably OK, not how I would have phrased it, but that's differences in personalities. The second message is basically saying, "No, you're STILL not doing it right" and is showing a lack of respect to the fund manager. Maybe bullying is too strong a term, but the lack of respect doesn't leave a nice taste.
