If Sing only makes $35 mill opening weekend, then the put would cash out at $40 - $35 = $5/share
If Sing only makes $30 mill opening weekend, then the put would cash out at $40 - $30 = $10/share
If Sing only makes $25 mill opening weekend, then the put would cash out at $40 - $25 = $15/share
If Sing makes more than $40 opening weekend (or more) then the put cashes out at $0
