"going to get crushed by derivative delists today"=
Office Christmas Party OW (holding long at $21.79) delists ~$17.50 = -$429,000
Office Christmas Party Call (holding long at $0.96) delists at $0.00 = -$19,200
Office Christmas Party Put (holding short at $4.42) delists at ~$8.08 = -$161,000
= ~$609,800 loss after delists = -0.61 affect on fund price
= 0.61 loss * 20,000 fund shares = $12,200 loss to share holders
flipping short?
= $54.88 * 0.02 (0.01 to sell shares + 0.01 to short shares) * 20,000 shares = $21,952 comissison
If players who are currently invested in the fund stick it out, they will lose $12,200
If players "flip" their shares to short (for no good reason, but suggested by the fund manager) they would pay $43,904 in comission ($21,952 to flip short now... and another $21,852 to flip back to long at some later time)
