You should be able to set the price you want if it's above $49.
But if you are setting the Limit Order to sell at a price above $49, and it's executing immediately, then you may want to ask on the Feedback Board 'why' this is happening.
The only other thing I can think of - is that your Limit Order "sell" price is too small - like 10 cents, etc. Try making it $1 more and see if it sticks. 16 cents may be too small.

Perhaps by the time you enter your sell limit order at $49.16, the stock price has already risen to that or more. Dec 13, 16:27
