no, it wouldnt help. christmas legs are huge and the multplier wasnt anywhere close. for example the las time xmas was on a sunday...

the girl with the dragon tattoo opened on the wednsday before. it was adjusted using the then formula of (previous box office + (2.2*fri-mon)). adjusted to 51.06 but delisted at 89.21!

this is a big reason why hsx stopped the adjust
