Limit orders on shorts

Is there any way to do a limit order on shorted stock, setting the price above where it is currently? For example, if I wanted to execute a cover on a stock that at $125 when it gets to $127, can I do that? If I set the limit at $127, the system sees it as below that and just makes the sale. I'm guessing the answer is no but just want to see if I'm missing something.
