Collider: 6 directors who could take over the Transformers franchise Nightfury82 Jul 04, 13:44

Reboot really?? How the heck would you do that. Im thinking next one will prbly be a prequel. Transformers War For Cybertron {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 13:51

Prequel would be cool (especially if it was similar to the Cybertron game) but these movies need a human element. {nm} Nightfury82 Jul 04, 13:55

What about a prequel that had to do with them arriving in the 60's and stuff. I mean Megatron had been on earth for like 70 years or smthin {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 15:49

Do they? I always thought the human element was what made the movies so humdrum. I mean, I don't think Paramount would sign off on a huge {nm} CamouflageNoise Jul 04, 19:49

might work.. i dunno {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 20:00

Transformers has been rebooted countless times only the G1 characters have been enduringly popular {nm} notfabio Jul 04, 13:59

The transformers animated movie route is probably similar to what a non reboot sequel would have to do ie Sam's son {nm} notfabio Jul 04, 14:06

remember GoBots? lol {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 15:50

JJ Abrams...Bad Robot: The Movie...hehe {nm} tealfan Jul 04, 14:12

while seeing tfrm3, i kept thinking JJ mighta snuck in and added lens flares; it was all over that film! islander Jul 04, 14:16

Well, strictly speaking, he got it from Bay to begin with. :) (Personally, I like 'em.) {nm} ShawnMR Jul 04, 14:19

What I want to see.... RazorHawk Jul 04, 14:17

Good choice! {nm} accountant_4_Jesus Jul 04, 14:23

Nice... GjJoe vs TFRM good too. I'd still like to see a good Thundercats movie. I LOVED that cartoon as a kid. {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 15:48

I doubt that no matter who they choose, the replacement won't be able to make the film look half as epic as Bay made the new one look HarryWarden Jul 04, 22:36

I'm almost kinda surprised you actually liked it HarryWarden ;) {nm} Dorfman Jul 04, 23:15
