Does anybody remember this?... (This thread is an example)

Posted by: RazorHawk on Nov 23, 19:20 in response to PVL Admin (Rocket123)'s post *shakes in boots*

"Bordem sets in.  Players go thru summer blockbuster withdrawls.  Posters race each other to find the news that is usually in short supply during this time of the year.  The ports are not making large amounts of money and depressed players are looking for somebody to blame.  Players start getting on each other's nerves and lots of (unfriendly) debates occur and fights even break out on occasion."

"There will be a little more agressiveness on the boards in the next couple of months but do not let that intimidate you.  Let those players do the things that they are going to do and do your best not to caught in the middle of it or be a part of it."

Latest update on Fandango ticket sales: MUPET - 44%, TWLI4 - 19%, ARTHC - 8%, HUGO - 6%, HPYF2 - 4% xiayun Nov 23, 13:16

That's really good for ARTHC if it is indeed ahead of HPYF2 {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Nov 23, 13:19

even Hugo is ahead... {nm} gogreen Nov 23, 14:27

Adults without kids should not be willingly seeing The Muppets {nm} HarryWarden Nov 23, 13:22

I say this in the truest spirit of Thanksgiving: STFU islander Nov 23, 13:29

Classy and wrong. HarryWarden Nov 23, 13:31

Can I at least go to ogle Amy Adams? {nm} Was Bar Was Nov 23, 13:35

The muppets have always been aimed at adults as well as kids. Heck, some of Jim Henson's first stuff was on SNL. {nm} stevie1der328 Nov 23, 13:53

Jim Henson's first TV gig was on Ed Sullivan, long before SNL...Mana Mana....Next came Jimmy Dean..(Rowf) Buy StarBondFund Nov 23, 16:30

So now you have the authority to determine when a person shouldn't want to relive their childhood, or to go to fun films anymore? accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 13:55

what he said... {nm} PVL Admin (Rocket123) Nov 23, 13:59

Relive childhood? It's time to move on and grow up. {nm} HarryWarden Nov 23, 14:50

Just because someone is grown up already doesn't mean that they necessarily have to watch "adult" movies. accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 15:18

Gotta love hate-filled responses. STFU. {nm} HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:19

That wasn't hate-filled, just observational. Believe me, I could've done a lot worse. And no, I will not. {nm} accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 15:22

Yes, it most definitely was hate-filled. HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:27

Listen... accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 15:51

Well... HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:55

I realize that, but... accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 16:04

haha {nm} supersuper Nov 23, 18:33

I thought that it was an intelligent reply. Those who respond with "F.Off" are typically incapable of an intellectual retort. Ergo... PVL Admin (Rocket123) Nov 23, 15:24

islander did the same thing. And you'd better watch it too. {nm} HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:27

Please settle down. {nm} islander Nov 23, 15:29

(meant for HW) {nm} islander Nov 23, 15:29

Why... HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:31

Oh please! Your threats of legal action are no more than a child's tantrum. "hate" has a VERY specific definition in the law. PVL Admin (Rocket123) Nov 23, 16:34

Well, HarryWarden Nov 23, 17:27

And since when does... HarryWarden Nov 23, 17:28

Does anybody remember this?... (This thread is an example) RazorHawk Nov 23, 19:20

LOL {nm} accountant_4_Jesus Nov 23, 19:36

Since you seem to be the arbiter of such things, at what point should we stop watching horror/slasher films aimed at teens? High school? {nm} stevie1der328 Nov 23, 15:55

Slasher films are rated R so they're for adults. Teens are more for films like The Grudge and the other PG-13 crapfests. {nm} HarryWarden Nov 23, 15:57

Apparently adults should only watch R rated horror/slasher crapfests, not PG-13 crapfests. {nm} theun4gven Nov 23, 20:56

As an adult without kids who just saw it, I can say that I think that anyone who considers themself a Muppets fan will almost certainly like Ruthian23 Nov 23, 13:49

Just got back from seeing it with the wife. She wanted to go. I enjoyed. About as many adults with no kids as with kids in the theater. {nm} The Commish Nov 23, 14:36

At the time I went (1:20 EST) it was fairly kid heavy, but I actually noticed that a lot of the audible laughs were from adults. Kids seemed Ruthian23 Nov 23, 18:39

Way to troll there. theun4gven Nov 23, 20:54

And more Fandango deals (there are so many of them these days) xiayun Nov 23, 13:23

Nice. The battle royale' between "Muppets" and "Twilight" begins... {nm} VictorY Nov 23, 14:36

A "Twippets" weekend? {nm} DTravel Nov 23, 23:05
