I agree with your thoughts about the storylines and the action sequences. I think they're both ok, entertaining to watch...

I'm a fan of both zombie and vampire movies, so maybe I'm biased. Either way I hope they just don't keep squeezing the life off these franchises. Give them a strong burial and I'll be pleased. A crossover would be interesting...
