Bane Could have had improvements, but spoilers
Bane wasn't the lead villan. There where subtle things point to it all the way. When Bane tells Dagget "Everythings gone according to plan" and then the guy goes into a rant about how he's not in control of Wayne Enterprises. That was the first major clue to something not being right. Batman fans who didn't stay away from actor listing that put Talia in the cast should have connected the dots by that point. Bane was basically saying that the plan was to put the lady in charge of Wayne Enterprises from the start. For those who caught on to that you know who ratted out the Spechial Forces and why she says the things she does, but does so in a way you'd never really suspect. They played that perfectly with Talia. My brother midway though the movie was convinced that they wrote Talia out of the story so when they did the big reveal it caught him off gaurd, and that's a good thing. Which is also why they kept her out of every trailer so the reviel could catch some off gaurd.
Banes death could have been more dramatic, but at that point you know he's not the main villan. So they opt for ending it in a way that actually mocks Batman. As Joker said Batman WONT kill no matter what cost, and he WONT use guns. So how do you deal with the sistuation? Nolan opted to mock Batman and have Selina Kill Bane with "basically" a gun (yea it's really a mini rocket launcher on the Bat Bike but it's a gun).
Talia's even playing a role from A Tail of Two Cities. In it their is a lady who has a "revenge" list, and uses the revolution as cover to exact her revenge. Which is exactly what Talia is doing to Bruce and Gotham.
The Trials could have been better, but adding more to them other than "senencing hearing" would add other another half hour to the film, and I personally believe Joker would have been the best "Judge" if they had that optoin.
