Yeah, i would like to agree with you, but the film has to have audience appeal to put butts in those 2700 seats

and I don't think PLAYF will pull.It could struggle for a few reasons:

-Now I really like soccer themed films, but don't know anyone else who does. From what I have observed, American audiences don't particularly go for soccer themed movies, not yet.

-This is one of the worst weekends of the year in terms of box office gross,

-I have no desire to see see this film at all, nor have I ever.Do you? Does Anyone? Somebody must, it has 85% on the RT Audience meter.

However, PLAYF has 0% on the Tomatometer on RT at the moment, now there aren't a lot of reviews posted yet, but zero percet man, zero.

-Throw in the recent, mostly low predictions including a recent prediction today by BO for a 5.8 weekend, plus the one one post below this one by FilmGo for even less. I predicted about what you just did and i think I am wrong.

Conclusion: Me thinky it stinky.

Now, I am not saying that poor reviews and low, box-office predictions equal a poor opening weekend, but I think a bad movie without redeming qualities does and imo, PLAYF looks awful. Are you willing to pay 8 bucks at the cinema for this? I am not.
