Many people seem to assume that we are talking about the actor to play Spawn himself. If that is the case the list is short.
Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman and Louis Gossett, Jr. are too old fit with the detaisl in the article. Only leaves Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker and Cuba Gooding, Jr. to fit the Academy Award Winning Actor criteria.
Unless we are not taking about the actor to play spawn himself. So if that would be the case it could be anyone, don't forget McFarlane stated about 3 years ago that he always had DiCaprio in the back of my mind. What role could he possibily play?
McFarlane hinted back then that it wouldn't be either Sam or Twitch, it would still be a police character who's chasing down a case, that involves spawn obviously !
