From my not so scientific analysis I do not believe The Twilight Saga: New Moon [TWLI2] is worth $237.61
First let me start off with I am not a twilight fan, know very little about the fanbase and generally do not care about the movie. Because I do not know the fan base (and am judging the numbers) I am asking a question - is this movie grossly overvalued at almsot $240?
First twilight move is at $200 before release. Hits 180 first weekend. Ends up down to 150 by the time it delists. Now I wasnt a Harry Potter fan but thats how I compare it. HP had tons of fans of all genders. Kids dragged their parents. For twilight I see little girls dragging on their mothers. No boys or fathers will see this movie (obvious overstatment).
Am I crazy? Last ones real price was 180 and 150 on delist. 240? Am I missing something? Did they grow their fan base by 50% since the last film? Im not doubting it kills in the boxoffice - but does it justify the HSX price?
I read that the movie board has been quite quiet so thought I would spice it up...........
