I think that if we consider mulltiples vs price, we might be able to draw our conclusions based on our opinions.
Movie genres typically have similar multiples. Horrors, for example, generally pull a 2 multiple from OW. Since HSX standard is 2.7, it is usually a safe bet to short a horror after OW adjust.
this movie has broken out. It would not be crazy to expect a higher multiple, especially since it has an A+ cinimascore. However, HSX has already adjusted for 3.0 x OW. Unless it has future expansion plans, it won't target new audiences. Therefore it's earn potential is limited on that. Oh, it's limited to a high number, but can it beat a 3.0 without future expansion?
