eallensbp, here is an example of verbiage that bothers me and could easily be tweaked to be less provocative without losing your point.
Your IM is perfectly fine, because you are upfront about presenting your thoughts as simply your opinion. However, your Quick Reply/subject line is problematic. "ININC has 3 more weekends to get to around 40" reads as if 40 million is a foregone conclusion of a target. Reworded as some variation of "I think ININC can easily surpass 40 in 3 more weeks" firmly establishes that this is your opinion, and not some common observation being made by many.
"Demand for this movie is still high", based on what? Are you making this statement ased on the box office performance last week and this weekend? Or based on tracking for the upcoming weekends? Are you reading or hearing people saying "I want to see ININC in the upcoming weeks because i've heard it's awesome and i find its past success intriguing?" I'm not being snarky, I honestly want to know what the basis of your statement is. Making broad blanket statements without backup is also problematic.
