DL: Sarah Chalke joins Julia Roberts and co. in Mothers Day [MTHRS]

Sarah Chalke has landed a role in Garry Marshall’s Mother’s Day, the Open Road Films ensemble comedy that’s set for an April release. She joins a cast that includes Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis and is set to play Gabi, who with her partner Max (the recently cast Cameron Esposito) are raising their son.

Timothy Olyphant, Margo Martindale, Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, Jack Whitehall, Aasif Mandvi, Ella Anderson and Loni Love have already joined the cast of the pic, the latest in Marshall’s holiday-themed series.
