by the way, I tracked my theater against nationwide averages last week. here are the stats for last weekend:
Zootopia for my theater on Friday (excluding midnights) - $4800 roughly
Zootopia nationwide average on Friday (excluding midnights) - $4651
London for my theater on Friday (excluding midnights) - $2000 roughly
London nationwide average on Friday (excluding midnights) - $1916
The averages lined up very comparable, so I was happy to see that. Though it's just one sample, this means if I go about tracking and following up with my source on a Friday night, there's a good indicator of what a film can do OW. Or at the very least how much better it is performing over another wide release.
I'll try to do one more update around 7-7:30pm.
