It doesn't stink and it's better than 90% of the crap released in Jan/Feb but it's not great and it's not one of Scorsese's best.
It's just perception and what you go in expecting. Is it worth seeing? Sure... does one have to rush out and see it in the movie theater? Dunno, probably not. It's not Avatar! :)
