Suicide Squad did not cost $325m. You're making that number up.

These statements are also false:

"you only need to hit 1-2 to stay in business..."

"Whereas, one big budget blunder can take down your whole studio..."

It's ok to be passionate about stuff, but you're developing a pattern of making of facts.

"I'd make many more very low risk movies"

Those are franchise films, you know the ones that wouldn't be 50% of your budget despite being 60%+ of total theatrical revenue. Just look at STX and the recent history of mid level studios (Overture, Relativity, Open Road, CBS Films). Its impossible to operate in that space. Lionsgate's been the only one and they made it work for a time cause they developed one franchise (Hunger Games) and bought another (Twilight).You have to be all in on tentpole mentality or all in on small budgets and acqusitions.
