BTW, both RESE6 and GOLDX lost around 1900 theaters in their third weekends, which can be credited for those death-drops

It's not an unheard of but pretty rare even for major stinkers because RESE6 probably could have still done some business but with three higher profile movies opening this past Friday, theaters clearly wanted a sure thing rather than the third week of a movie that was gonna be frontloaded anyway. Weinstein Co. just gave up on GOLDX... no surprise cause it's not as good a movie as The Founder.
