I'd imagine they'll go for more lower cost viral promos like what they're doing on Tron Legacy (more)
They got an incredible amount of mileage with what they did with Flynn Lives offsite and a quick teaser in Hall H.
They could do a pretty great Muppets presentation with 0 footage all they really need to do is trot out Jason Segel and some live action muppets on stage. Mars Needs Moms and Pirates could really skate by with talent appearances and a teaser. I'd imagine they'll do their first real Marvel-Disney push this year and probably trot out Hugh Jackman for Real Steel.
I think they're largely addressing what led to lower than anticipated #'s for the first D23 Expo (i.e. moving it into Summer, scheduling it all on 3 days rather than 5)

Marvel-Disney deal won't payoff until 2012 at the earliest and I wouldn't call their viral campaign cheap. Mar 18, 14:18
