shares are still held long.

Also, active traders tend not to trade on the long-term. When there's a short-term price movement, they follow the movement, even if it doesn't make logical sense. (In this case though, it's very logical: poor OW --> reboot? delays? less audience interest in franchise? --> moviestock price of sequel  goes down. And when the moviestock bottoms out, they'll flip)

Jleag2 question: seems like most players believe it won’t get made? That’s how it’s priced IMO... {nm} Sleprock Nov 20, 06:59

sure it will get made. but when? wb are going to have to burn it all down and rebuild and that could take years {nm} islndr Nov 20, 07:05

+1. Could be 5 years. Could be 10. No reason to hold onto that kind of stock for so long. {nm} -JPV- Nov 20, 07:18

Great point. But it's hard to believe that over 500m shares would ride JLEAG down $100 and 225m would ride JLEA2 down $200. It seems like... tomcat90 Nov 20, 09:41

After the password reset many probably got frustrated or used it as an excuse otto quit the ads dont help that. {nm} Baron_Darcon2017 Nov 20, 17:44

Maybe they can use flashpoint to hire new actors haha. Take their own spin on it {nm} columbia Nov 20, 09:30

ERC: JLEAG is estimated to gross $94M this weekend, down $2M from yesterdays estimates islndr Nov 20, 08:12

Ouch. Certifiable flop. Time to regroup, WB. {nm} RollingThunder Nov 20, 08:14

"Flashpoint" {nm} RazorHawk Nov 20, 08:19

Probably. But I won't hold my breath. The studio can't see to get out of their own way and doubtful they'll learn their lesson... -JPV- Nov 20, 08:23

* can't seem, sheesh. Wish there was an edit function :p {nm} -JPV- Nov 20, 09:06

Notihng to regroup. Already was said, probably in preperation for the idea JLEAG would disappoint, to focus on solo movies. -JPV- Nov 20, 08:20

Miller totally wrong. A solo flash movie will bomb due to his politics alone. Grant is a much better flash. {nm} Baron_Darcon2017 Nov 20, 10:23

Nobody knows (or cares) about his politics. And he was generally praised even by critics who disliked the movie. {nm} -JPV- Nov 20, 10:44

Nah, the movie's opening weekend was affected by politics/boycotts about as much as The Force Awakens was. {nm} RogerMore Nov 20, 11:38
