Dear lord, so much personal opinion stated as fact...
You say fans aren't happy with CM. Where's your evidence for that? The A cinemascore shows that audiences who watched the film loved it.
You claim Disney expected $450m and then link to the unaffiliated Box Office Pro estimate, which they get wrong all the time.
You consistently ignore the $1b this film is going to earn off its $150m budget.
You try to make it sound like not reaching $400m is a failure. You compare it negatively to other first outings for Marvel character, when in fact Black Panther is the only first Marvel character film to beat it. So by that logic, every MCU film that doesn't hit $700 is a failure.
You try to use its IM as a failure, failing to realise how the MCU's recognition has changed over time.
You compare it to a 2007 sequel despite it already outperforming it on every level (including the inaccurate audience scores in IMDB and RT), because it "feels" similar.
It's time to admit your bias or that you're a troll, and stop hiding behind the "fans" when there's no evidence to prove this beyond some backwater minority who resents this film making over a billion dollars.
